New CEO at MEMQ AG

As of 1st of July 2010 the board of directors of MEMQ AG announced Kurt Früh as CEO. He takes the place of Jochen Zips, who resigns from office by 30.06.2010. Jochen Zips was working for the company for over 15 years in several functions and was heading the company since 2009. The board of directors expressed their gratitude for his effort and his commitment.

Kurt Früh is currently as well president of the board of directors of the holding - COS Computer Systems AG Baden - and comes with longtime experience in distribution. At the general meeting of the quoted COS Computer Systems AG Baden held in June 2010, the stockholders agreed upon the strategic redirection of the group. With regard to the redirection was decided to divest the memory division. Kurt Früh will acquire MEMQ AG together with further investors and continue the business taking over the leadership of the company.

COS Memory changes its name to MEMQ

The change of the company's name into MEMQ AG was finalized at the third of February 2010 in an extraordinary general meeting.
The new name constitutes an integral part of the company's strategy of enhancing and strengthening its position as 'the memory specialist'.

MEMQ stands for 'Memory and Quality'. The new company logo contains an ellipse which represents 'all-embracing'. The core competence memory, the quality and overall services are combined. As soon as the registration in the companies's register is completed and the change of name ist executed, a formal notification will follow.
