Have you felt unsettled by today's press release from the tiscon group saying “COS Distribution files for insolvency”?

A lot of our customers already asked us if this has anything to do with us – COS Memory AG.

We can reassure you the following: since the end of 2006 there do not exist any legal or financial connections between us and COS Distribution GmbH any more. In 2006 the COS Group in Switzerland – to which we belong – sold the COS Distribution GmbH to the tiscon group. Unfortunately tiscon group did not change the name of COS Distribution – so they continued distributing their products with nearly the same name as we do. This used to create confusion regularly and especially in the current situation it is extremely distracting.

Please note that the current happenings do not have any influence on the business relations between you and COS Memory AG. We have been there for you and your needs during the last 20 years and will be in future as well – we are YOUR partner when it comes down to chip-based memory products.
